Grace Brethren Village is sponsored by the Tri-State
District Fellowship of Grace Brethren Churches in
affiliation with the National Fellowship of Grace
Brethren Churches.
The Village was established in 1969 as an Ohio
Not-For-Profit corporation and opened its doors to serve
seniors in 1971.
The vision of the early planners of Grace
Brethren Village was to provide a comfortable,
affordable and secure haven for senior members of Grace
Brethren Churches.
Very soon it became evident that more people wanted to
be part of this community.
Because
of this increase in demand, the Village’s Board of
Trustees decided to extend an invitation to all seniors
looking for quality care and services.
Regardless of race, profession or church denomination,
any individual as young as 55, who meets financial,
medical and eligibility requirements and would like to
live in a faith-based community, is welcomed here.
Grace Brethren Village farther expanded its ministry
when the Village’s Board of Trustee’s approved pursuing
Medicare and Medicaid Certification.
Now as a Medicaid certified skilled nursing facility,
any individual resident of Grace Brethren Village who
outlives their financial resources, have the peace of
mind that they will still be able to receive the
necessary quality skilled nursing care at the Village’s
Health Care Center.
